Guilt and Condemnation haunt every Christian who fell in sin and shame. If you are one of those, and am sure im one of them, how then should we handle this sense of condemnation? And if we know someone who fell in sin, how then should we treat this fallen brother/sister in the Lord? Any sense of condemnation from your past sin or failures will blind you of His grace and mercy, it is the work of Satan whom the bible declared as the accuser of the righteous (Rev.12:10). Believe on how God sees you-

* Romans 4:7-8 Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven,  whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

* 1 John 1:9- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If you already repented of such sin and embraced the cross, you are blessed. CJ Mahaney penned in his book Living The Cross-centered Life this God is glorified when we believe witn all our hearts that those who trust in Christ can never be condemned. On the matter of a fallen brother/sister, what is the biblical way of treating them?

* Eph.4:32- Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

* 1 John 5:16a If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life.

A repentant brother/sister in the Lord needs love, compassion, and forgiveness. Any gossip or condemnation will further hurt the person and God called us to love one another as He loves us. We are what we are today because of His grace and mercy ALONE! The Pharisees look at the sin while the saint looks at the CROSS for Christ was crucified for our sins(1 Peter 3:18). May we be Christ-like, gracious people. Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.(Gal.6:1)
