Last April 13 to 14, the Young Adults of CCSGM had an annual Camp at CCT Tagaytay Retreat and Training Center. There were 22 Young Adults who are either working or handling their own business took a break from work and joined this fruitful and Christ Centric Retreat. The theme of this retreat is “Stepping Up!”

Session 1 – Stepping up in your Decisions

“Even our small decisions can impact our future, every decision has its consequences, so we must be very careful to discern the will of God in our life”

Session 2- Stepping up in Service
 
‘Stepping up in Ministry is not a call for a higher position, a wider influence, or a bigger stage. Rather, it is a higher, wider and bigger understanding of servanthood’
A powerful reminder to a life of self-emptying for the sake of God’s glory.

Worship and Testimony Night
Though this Retreat is overnight, it was full of revelation from the Lord. In the midst of our busy and toxic schedule as a Young Adult, doing fellowship with fellow believers and sharing His goodness is one of the best breaks we can have.

Session 3- Stepping up by stepping down

Our Retreat falls on a Sunday and not being in Church is not an excuse. After all, we are the Church!

We had our Sunday Worship Service on our last day at CCT.  The topic is part of our Sunday Service Series: Philippians 2

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross. – Phil. 2:6-2

‘Christian life is a life of humility and following the examples of Jesus – Christ-likeness and not a self-centered life.’
