Hardness

By: Rev.Dr. Jeffrey Jo

Any building constructions materials should pass through the hardness test. It’s hardenability & functionality should go together for safety & conformity to the design, we appreciate anything that lasts.
But when it comes to our heart before God, hardness will surely ruin us. It ruined…
* Thousands if not millions of lives for not listening to Noah’a warning * pharaoh & his army (& his kingdom as well)
* Samson’s strength & costs him slavery & death
* Solomon’s wisdom & made him a mad-fool before God & His people Let’s be honest, we all have a hard heart before
God sometimes & we reap the consequences.
George Macdonald once said, ”In whatever a man does without God, he must either fail miserably or succeed more miserably.”
How then do we deal with our hard heart?
Take note of the red flags that God has showed to us from the scriptures.
We need to read His word for He will surely reveal His will. Second, exercise repentance of our sin & stubborness everyday.
God knows our frailties & is willing to forgive us as we confessed our sin to Him.
His Son died on the cross for your sin & mine.
Dick Mills once said, ”God has promised to replace our calloused, stony heart of flesh.
You will always know when you have a new heart by the attitude change that comes to you.”
I remembered you in prayer today
