There was not a time for the people of God to live without facing difficult challenges.
We live in a time with tons of circumstances that bring hopelessness, discouragement, and confusion.
In this pandemic season, it seems that the church is going through a form of ‘persecution’- we are not allowed to gather, wherein throughout history, the church is a place of refuge in times of calamity, turmoil, and war. Our gathering brings inspiration, encouragement, instructions, and the study of the scriptures. False prophets and false teachers are rampant today. Worldliness surges as people, both young and old, immersed themselves in the garbages of the internet. There are challenges as well inside our home- the loss of an income or a job threatens the survival and future of our family and the threat to be hit by COVID 19 lingers in our thoughts.
Where do we draw our courage and strength? Answer: to GOD and His promises!
As our text says,
“You (God) will keep in perfect peace him(you and me) whose mind is steadfast(His grace will do this to us), because he trusts in You”(Isaiah 26:3).”
Goodmorning stay happy and healthy for the Lord your God is with us.
