It is God’s Grace that allowed the youth of CCSGM- General Trias to have its first Outdoor Fellowship with the theme, “Reasons Why God”, inspired from the bible verses of Romans 5:3-4 at Verdana Homes Club House in Alabang last Aug. 21, 2018.
It all started last June after the youth leaders of Gen Trias proposed the event to the church leaders. Thereafter, organizers started to pray about the program and developed a plan in making the event possible.
The first outdoor fellowship at Alabang was filled with much anticipation and surprises. All the participants showed enthusiasm for the exciting activities. Above all the fun and enjoyment, the Word of God became the highlight of the event, making a great impact on the lives of the participants. Three groups were formed for the discussions and games which were headed by Bro. Bryan, Bro. Aljhon and Sis. Florgelie.
Moreover, “Reasons Why God” personally challenged each participant as the Lord began to move and break every piece of pride in their hearts. Truly, everyone realized that God is all that they need in this life. Indeed, God used the life of Sis. Arlene Jimenez for delivering the Word of the Lord with love and boldness to all the young people.
Furthermore, tons of exciting activities and joyful fellowship happened in the afternoon. The time was filled with laughter and joy. But before the day ended, the young people gave out their best thanksgiving and praises as they worshiped God together in the Night of Worship.
CCSGM – Gen Tri youth thank God for allowing the event to happen; the leaders and organizers for giving much of their time, effort and for offering their heartfelt prayers; and lastly, to every young people who participated in the event with joyful and teachable hearts before God.
